Job summary

Vista Multifamily Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the property's maintenance staff, schedule repairs, and ensure curb appeal. You will coordinate make-readies, manage vendor relations, and support leasing in achieving occupancy goals.

The role requires strong supervisory abilities, hands-on maintenance skills across electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, plus safety and compliance adherence. A valid KS driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• EPA Certification required within 75 days of hire.
• EPA approved certification required.
• 3+ years of maintenance technician or related field experience.
• Valid Kansas driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise daily maintenance team activities.
• Coordinate make-readies and move-ins/move-outs.
• Manage work orders and repairs, tracking in Yardi (24-48 hr windows).
• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Maintain supplies, inventory, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with Community Manager to support occupancy goals and resident satisfaction.
