Job summary

Mill Creek Residential is seeking a Service Manager to oversee maintenance across one or more communities. You will lead routine and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major appliances, while proactively addressing potential problems and maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety and Fair Housing regulations.

Qualifications

• Capacity to read, write, and speak English; bilingual a plus.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
• General computer skills and property management software proficiency.
• Experience operating maintenance tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Routinely inspect community grounds and buildings to ensure safety standards and identify maintenance projects.
• Monitor inventory of tools, supplies, and spare parts for common issues and emergencies.
• Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and tools.
• Inspect vacated apartments, document renovations, and reinspect for high-quality work and timely completion.
• Respond to resident requests promptly with excellent customer service.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance, service requests, expenditures, and status of units.
