Job summary

Marshall Reddick Real Estate is seeking a Property Maintenance Manager to oversee a portfolio in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. This role focuses on project management for renovations and residential repairs, traveling daily across LA, with one Newport Beach office day and four remote days weekly.

You will oversee inspections, coordinate maintenance, and ensure landlords’ investments are protected. A strong background in property management and vendor oversight is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential property management experience.
• Experience with property management software and renovations projects.
• Ability to communicate clearly with landlords, vendors, and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Handle all move-in, move-out, and renewal inspections.
• Manage all property renovations and projects.
• Onboard occupied and vacant properties.
• Create a recommended repairs list for new and vacant properties to be rent-ready.
• Assist Maintenance Coordinator with tenant repair requests.
• Screen, hire, fire, and manage vendors performing repairs and renovations.
• Communicate with landlords on major renovations or repairs.
• Negotiate vendor quotes and invoices to achieve competitive pricing.
• Maintain vendor list and documentation to stay on our vendor list.

The Opportunity

We are in need of a real “go-getter” who can make an immediate impact on our Property Management division! As a Property Maintenance Manager, you will work on a team that manages a portfolio of 300+ single-family homes, townhomes, condos, and multi-family properties in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. In this role, you will travel to properties to perform inspections, coordinate maintenance repairs and oversee large renovations, hold vendors accountable, and protect the investment of our landlords.

What We Offer

Annual Salary| $75,000 - $85,000

*This is NOT a hands-on maintenance role. This is not a construction role. This is a project management role where you will oversee renovation projects and residential repairs/maintenance for a portfolio of properties managed by our company. This role will require daily travel across Los Angeles and will work 1 day in our Newport Beach office and remotely 4 days per week. A company vehicle will be available for use.

• Bilingual (Spanish and English)
• AppFolio experience
• Experience with CRM Software, SuiteCRM is a huge plus
