Job summary

Kotarides Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to upkeep the apartment community, enhance curb appeal, and assist maintenance staff with turnover and minor tasks. Duties include property cleaning, turnover support, painting, make-ready work orders, and resident communications.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of apartment or similar maintenance experience. The role requires availability for weather-related emergencies and a proactive, safety-conscious approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year experience in apartment or similar maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of the property and remove litter.
• Ensure timely turnover of vacant units under the Property Manager.
• Perform interior and exterior painting as requested.
• Assist with make-ready duties and complete unit work orders.
• Distribute notices to residents.
• Be available to report to work during inclement weather and emergencies.
• Monitor property conditions and fix unsafe conditions.
• Maintain courteous, professional relations with residents.
