Job summary

Anawim Housing is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our property maintenance team, coordinate work orders, and ensure upkeep of occupied and vacant units. This hands-on leadership role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and compliance in multifamily housing.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and communication skills, experience supervising staff, and the ability to manage vendor relationships while maintaining high Service standards for tenants and property compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in apartment, multifamily, commercial, or residential property maintenance.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, appliances, and general building issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance staff to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate work orders, unit turns, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Inspect units, building systems, and common areas for upkeep and safety.
• Manage vendor relations, quotes, and contractor oversight.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, and local housing standards.
