Job summary

SoCal Management is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise the maintenance team, and coordinate repairs and preventative maintenance across the community. The role includes managing vendor relations, budgeting supply inventory, and ensuring safety and compliance.

The position requires a high school diploma and 3 years of related experience; HVAC CFC, EPA, and CPO certifications are preferred. Proficiency with Yardi and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 3 years’ experience performing the duties of a maintenance technician or related field.
• HVAC CFC, EPA certification preferred; CPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the daily activities of the property’s maintenance team.
• Prioritize work and evaluate maintenance staff performance.
• Coordinate move-ins/move-outs and ensure timely repairs and turns.
• Perform maintenance repairs and oversee preventative maintenance.
• Manage vendors and obtain proposals as needed.
• Maintain and track work orders in Yardi; monitor safety and compliance.
