Job summary

SAAR Management in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for our multifamily community. You will supervise technicians, manage preventive maintenance, schedule turns, and coordinate vendors to keep residents comfortable and buildings compliant.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience, strong HVAC, plumbing, electrical knowledge, and a Florida driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance supervisory experience in multifamily housing, property management, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate maintenance staff.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and lead maintenance technicians and maintenance support staff.
• Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance activities and work orders.
• Ensure timely completion of resident service requests and maintenance repairs.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and routine property inspections.
• Coordinate apartment turns and make-ready schedules.
• Monitor maintenance inventory, supplies, and operating budgets.
• Obtain vendor proposals and coordinate contractor services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Fair Housing, and Company safety policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general building maintenance issues.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies as required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Work closely with the Property Manager to identify, prioritize, and resolve maintenance needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
