Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance professional to supervise and perform routine upkeep across our community. You will diagnose issues, repair defects, and ensure all areas meet Greystar standards for cleanliness, safety, and function.

You will handle make-ready tasks for vacant units, manage vendor scheduling, maintain tools and inventory, and help develop budgets for repairs and capital projects. A strong focus on resident service and safety is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Provide own hand tools unless prohibited by State law; be skilled in safe use.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep.
• Diagnose defects, perform repairs following safety standards and codes.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant apartments and schedule vendors as needed.
• Develop cleanliness standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors for quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; work with manager to stay within budget.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance as per policy.
• Assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects with the Community Manager.
• Support safety meetings and ensure OSHA and safety compliance.
• Provide courteous, responsive service to residents and staff.
