Job summary

Kreider Farms is seeking a dependable, hands-on Property Maintenance Lead to help maintain and improve our facilities, equipment, and property. This role offers a jack-of-all-trades opportunity with skills in carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical work.

The role involves troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and grounds upkeep, with on-call needs at times. Join a growing, family-owned company and contribute to reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in carpentry, general construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating heavy equipment, and driving large trucks preferred.
• Ability to pass background check and/or MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance on buildings and facilities.
• Complete carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical work.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues as they arise.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with upkeep of grounds and property.
• Proficient in operating hand and power tools safely.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner – sometimes on “off” hours.
• Support facility projects and improvements as needed.
