Job summary

Kreider Farms is seeking a dependable, hands-on Property Maintenance Lead to help maintain and improve our facilities, equipment, and property. We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands.

This is a perfect job for a “jack-of-all-trades” that has the skills to be a trim/finish carpenter but wants some variety in the work they do. Monday through Friday 7am-5pm, with ability to respond to periodic emergency/on-call needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in carpentry, general construction, facilities maintenance, or related field.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying conditions; physical labor.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; background/MVR check may be required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving large trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general repairs and maintenance on buildings and facilities.
• Complete carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical work.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues as they arise.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist with grounds and property upkeep; operate tools safely.
• Respond to maintenance requests, including off-hours when needed.
• Support facility projects and improvements as required.

• Perform general repairs and maintenance on buildings and facilities
• Complete carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical work
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues as they arise
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections
• Assist with upkeep of grounds and property
• Proficient in operating hand and power tools safely
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner – sometimes on “off” hours
• Support facility projects and improvements as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in carpentry, general construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license, with a clean driving record required
• Experience operating heavy equipment, and driving large trucks preferred
• Ability to pass background check and/or MVR
