Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician in Austin to uphold community standards, handle make-ready tasks, and support the service team. You will inspect grounds, address requests, and ensure safety compliance while delivering courteous service to residents.

The role requires reliability, ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends, and a focus on safety and quality. Competitive benefits accompany the hourly pay range of $17.00–$19.00.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong customer service skills when interacting with residents.
• Follows safety policies and OSHA-related guidelines in daily tasks.
• Able to work collaboratively with supervisors and the service team.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community to keep grounds and amenities neat and litter-free.
• Removes trash and cleans vacant apartments before make-ready.
• Completes routine service requests and assists in the turn process.
• Changes locks and ensures pool area gates operate per code and safety standards.
• Distributes notices and communicates with residents as needed.
• Reports hazards to supervisors and maintains a safe environment.
• Delivers courteous resident service and addresses maintenance complaints.
• Adsheres to safety meetings and training requirements.
