Morgan Properties is hiring a Porter in Augusta, GA. The role focuses on maintenance support, cleaning, and ensuring the property presents well for residents and guests.

The Porter handles move-out cleanings, grounds upkeep, and assists with make-readies, while participating in security and routine on-site tasks. A driver’s license and vehicle are required, with flexibility for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Active and valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
• Must be available on notice in event of snow and/or ice and other on-site emergencies.
• Up to one-month related experience or training, or equivalent education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean apartments after move-out and prepare them for new residents.
• Remove all trash from grounds daily.
• Sweep sidewalks and driveways on a regular basis.
• Water trees as well as trim grass and shrubs.
• Support the maintenance team with make-readies and lend a hand to housekeeping when necessary.
• Replenish bathroom supplies.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Distribute flyers and letters to residents if necessary.
• Assist in keeping the Maintenance shop clean.
• Responsible for the security of the property at all times.
• Keeping all keys to the property in his/her personal possession and refusing to hand the keys to any unauthorized person.
