Job summary

Tailwind Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee daily property operations and uphold our service standards for residents. The role focuses on maintaining value, delivering excellent customer service, and contributing to the property's reputation.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evenings or weekends as needed. The compensation ranges from $28.00 to $34.00 per hour and includes bonus potential based on performance and market

Qualifications

Three or more years of experience in building maintenance, student housing experience is a plus.
Experience with HVAC and appliance repair.
One or more years of supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor residential sites and clubhouse areas for superior curb appeal, cleanliness, and organization.
Provide excellent customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, officials, and community members.
Review, assign and follow-up on open work orders per company guidelines.
Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and observe work by independent contractors to ensure quality.
Respond to after-hours emergency issues.
Develop a preventative maintenance program to minimize cost to owner.
Assist with employee recruitment, interviewing, selection, and alignment with company core values.
