The Riverside Transit Agency is seeking a full-time Maintenance Department employee for versatile shop and facilities work. The position may be assigned to either Riverside or Hemet locations and requires readiness to work 7 days per week, including holidays and all shifts.
Essential duties include preventive and remedial maintenance of shop equipment, framing and construction tasks, door and wall work, fence repairs, and HVAC-related maintenance, with landscape duties as assigned.

Please be advised that this may involve assignment at either our Riverside or Hemet locations. Applicants must be available to work 7 days per week, including holidays and all shifts.
Four years experience in facilities maintenance required. Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Possession of a valid non-restricted California driver's license is required prior to employment.
Experience as a carpenter, plumber or HVAC technician desirable. A repair background along with the knowledge and the ability to repair; HVAC systems, Hydraulic lift systems, Camera systems and extensive electrical circuit installation.
A current valid non-restricted Class C Driver's License is required. Additionally, obtain an official DMV Driving History printout from a branch of the DMV (issued not more than 30 days prior to date of application) must be provided with the application. The DMV Driving History must be clear of suspensions for any reason within the past five (5) years and have no more than three (3) points within the past five (5) years, and no two (2) point violations. No accidents which applicant contributed to cause within 3 years from your application date. Have appeared in court as required.
