Job summary

Foundation Communities in Austin, TX is hiring an Assistant Manager - Capital Studios to support the Property Manager in day-to-day operations and tenant relations. You will handle rents, renewals, inspections, and leasing activities on-site to ensure housing stability.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work with residents and vendors, and familiarity with onsite software and housing regulations. This is a full-time position based in Austin.

Qualifications

• Sound judgment to resolve problems and make routine recommendations.
• Little to no instruction on routine work, and general instruction on new assignments.
• Onsite software experience.
• Fair Housing training.

Responsibilities

• Posts all rents, deposits, fees, and daily bank deposits.
• Prepares and gives residents 90-60-30-day renewal notices on a timely basis.
• Conducts recertification and background checks.
• Issues appropriate notices (late payments, evictions, NSF checks).
• Prepares and updates reports as delegated by Property Manager.
• Greets prospective residents and performs leasing functions as defined by Foundation Communities criteria.
• Handles calls from residents and vendors as delegated.
• Accepts service requests and routes to maintenance.
• Inspects move outs and vacant units as requested by Property Manager.
• Works with Resident Services staff to support resident’s housing stability.
