Job summary

Atlantic Housing in Euless, TX is seeking an Assistant Community Manager for Hillcrest Apartments to support the Community Manager in daily operations. You will assist with leasing, rent processing, and resident services while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

The role requires LIHTC, HUD and Section 8 experience, plus at least one year in property management and familiarity with Yardi Voyager.

Qualifications

• 2 years of LIHTC, HUD and Section 8 experience (required)
• 1-year experience in property management (required)
• 1-year experience with Yardi or Yardi Voyager (preferred)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced and customer service-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in managing the property and reporting to the property supervisor and owner.
• Promptly update rents, deposits, and any other monies received from residents and verify they match leases.
• Issue notices for late payments, eviction notices, or returned checks.
• Physically inspect the property, coordinate maintenance, and address service needs.
• Perform leasing duties: greet prospects, show units, and assist with marketing as needed.
• Convert notices to renewals and maintain occupancy.
• Maintain on-site accounting for leases, move-ins/move-outs, traffic, and demographics.
• Proofread lease paperwork and process moves and deposits.
• Process security deposit move-out reports.
• Handle service requests from residents and follow up after work is completed.
• Work with team and comply with safety rules.
