American Campus Communities seeks a Groundskeeper for The Block in Austin, TX. You will maintain interior and exterior spaces, assist service teams, and support turnover and make-ready tasks, ensuring curb appeal and safety across resident areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning, trash collection, and basic maintenance. Training is provided; ability to operate equipment safely and lift up to 50 lbs is required. Join a property-maintenance team dedicated to community standards.

Qualifications

• General labor, housekeeping, and cleaning tasks.
• Ability to read and follow safety rules and MSDS procedures.
• Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal multi-step instructions.
• Willingness to learn and support facilities maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior and exterior areas to standard.
• Maintain property grounds and common areas; manage trash.
• Vacuum, mop, and/or shampoo floors; stock bathrooms.
• Assist service team with work orders, moving furniture, and supplies.
• Support turnover, make-ready duties, trash-outs, and painting.
• Help with pool maintenance (if applicable) and pressure washing.
• Safely operate all facility equipment following safety protocols.
• Keep shops and storage areas organized and clean.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
