Job summary

GHS Development LLC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to perform general and preventive maintenance across residential and commercial properties. You will lead seasonal grounds work, including lawn care and landscaping, and assist with snow/ice removal in winter.

The role requires troubleshooting, repairs, and coordinating with contractors as needed. Responsibilities include completing work orders, inspecting properties, assisting with turnovers, and documenting work performed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in ground and property maintenance preferred.
• Experience operating landscaping equipment.
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and common repairs.
• Able to troubleshoot problems and determine repair solutions.
• Able to recognize when a licensed contractor is needed.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple work orders.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and with a team.
• Professional communication with residents, tenants, vendors, and coworkers.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Hours are 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders for properties in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, appliances, doors, locks, and fixtures.
• Lead seasonal grounds maintenance including lawn mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, and landscape upkeep.
• Coordinate with licensed contractors when repairs require specialized work.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.
• Assist with apartment turnovers and unit preparations for new residents.
• Document completed work with time spent, description, and photos when required.
• Travel between properties to perform duties.
