Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking a Maintenance Tech responsible for overall grounds, property, and building maintenance of the association, including preventive maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and amenity prep. The role requires knowledge of various trades and the ability to operate related tools and equipment.

The position involves on-call duties, safety compliance per OSHA and company policy, and collaboration with the property manager and residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Drywall experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry trades.
• Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe and secure environment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and landscape work.
• On-call for emergencies and projects.
• Requests materials and tools as needed.
• Maintains fire protection and security systems and documentation.
• Inspects emergency equipment for compliance.
• Keeps records of preventive maintenance activities.
