Job summary

InTown Suites in Duluth, GA is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations, financial performance and guest satisfaction at a property. You will lead staff, manage front office, and ensure compliance with budgets and safety standards.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing team, optimizing revenue, monitoring local competition, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for guests and employees.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in management. Supervisory experience required.
• High school diploma preferred but not required.
• Ability to recruit, interview and hire staff and manage multiple activities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and hire all property staff.
• Training, development and support of property staff.
• Responsible for office operations, including guest check-in/out, cash handling, bookkeeping and payroll.
• Maximize financial performance through revenue management and pricing recommendations.
• Meet budgets through P&L analysis and cost/inventory control.
• Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
• Drive sales through local marketing and maintain relationships with authorities.
• Travel to other properties within the market and to the bank.
