Job summary

The Scion Group in Tuscaloosa, AL is seeking a General Manager who will lead property operations, staff development and customer experience in a fast-paced, collegiate setting. You will drive budget adherence, capital projects, and turnover processes while maintaining Scion standards.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of living-communities management, strong leadership and a customer-centric mindset, with proficiency in property management systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing living communities and a team of 3+ people.
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (Entrata preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication and customer experience mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing and scheduling, including after-hour on-call shifts and responsive coverage.
• Oversee property administration, vendor management, risk management and contract matters.
• Manage annual turnover process and coordinate with finance, facilities and HR for budgets and improvements.
• Uphold Scion standards with property walks, inspections and scorecard reporting.
• Drive customer experience, revenue targets and leasing velocity through staff development and operations.
