Job summary

Management Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Property Accountant to prepare and maintain financial statements, supporting schedules, and detailed analysis in a hands-on role based in Florida. You will work with property management staff to finalize accruals and maintain accurate ledgers.

The position requires 1–3 years of accounting experience (property accounting preferred) and strong Excel skills, with Yardi experience considered a plus. Attention to deadlines and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience, property accounting preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience handling multiple company financials and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient Excel skills and familiarity with mid-level accounting systems (Yardi preferred).
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor operating results and prepare/distribute monthly financial packages.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and work with property management staff on accruals.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and close general ledger with support schedules.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, variance reports, and cash flows.
• Review fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and disposals monthly.
• Prepare/review management fee calculations per property management agreements.
• Analyze mortgage, partnership, and cash management agreements for compliance.
• Prepare escrow draw packages per loan documents.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
