Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company is seeking a Field Adjuster to manage, investigate, and resolve property claims in the Montgomery, AL area. The role emphasizes customer service, fair settlements, and timely resolutions, with expectations to work with independent adjusters and use estimating software such as Xactimate.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in field adjusting, an active insurance license, and the ability to climb ladders and inspect roofs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years property field adjusting experience preferred.
• Must possess Insurance License and any additional state licenses as required.

Responsabilités

• Manage, investigate and resolve assigned property claims with a focus on customer service and fair resolutions.
• Negotiate settlements and explain terms to insureds or their representatives.
• Gather information from independent adjusters and other experts.
• Prepare reports and detailed estimates of damages using estimating software.
