Job summary

CCMS & Associates is recruiting for a 1099 Residential or Commercial Field Adjuster licensed in Alabama. The role involves conducting field inspections, using Xactimate for estimates, and preparing loss documentation.

You will interact with insureds, claimants and officials to investigate and assess claims. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of first-party property adjusting experience, own estimating software, and strong time management/customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience.
• Proficient with Xactimate; Cotality a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections using Xactimate.
• Investigate claims by interviewing insureds, claimants, witnesses and officials and by inspecting damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation and reserve report.
• Obtain and interpret official reports.
• Review coverage forms and endorsements; provide analysis in a captioned report to the client.
• Maintain product quality via established best practices.
