6 Degrees Search is seeking a Property Coverage Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage practice in Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Francisco. The attorney will handle sophisticated property insurance matters, conduct comprehensive policy analysis, and contribute to dispute resolution in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters.

Responsibilities

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Prepare correspondence for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review and analyze documents in coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions, and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Support case strategy through all phases of litigation.
