KLA Industries seeks a skilled Property Coverage Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group in Los Angeles, Irvine, and San Francisco, handling sophisticated property insurance matters, policy analysis, and dispute resolution.

The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, 3+ years of insurance coverage experience, and strong research, writing, and drafting skills including litigation exposure.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation.
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting.
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and highly confidential matters.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Prior litigation experience, including depositions, hearings, and mediations.

Responsabilités

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions and provide strategic recommendations to clients.
• Prepare correspondence for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review and analyze documents in connection with coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using platforms such as Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Advocate for clients in dispute resolution proceedings and support case strategy through all phases of litigation.
