A leading international law firm seeks a Property Coverage Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage practice in Los Angeles, Irvine, or San Francisco. The attorney will handle complex property coverage matters, draft opinions, and manage litigation and discovery in a fast-paced environment.

Required: JD from a top-tier law school, active Bar admission, and 3+ years of insurance coverage experience with strong research and drafting skills. Hybrid work options available, with a diverse client base.

Qualifikationen

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation.
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting.
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and highly confidential matters with professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple matters.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration with colleagues and clients.
• Prior litigation experience, including depositions, hearings, and mediations, preferred.

Aufgaben

• Analyze insurance policies and claim materials, draft coverage opinions and recommendations.
• Prepare correspondence for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review and analyze documents in coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, pleadings, and dispositive motions.
• Conduct and defend depositions and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Support case strategy through all phases of litigation.
