The ideal candidate has a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar status, 3+ years of property coverage experience, and strong research, writing, and advocacy skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive experience in insurance coverage matters, including property coverage.
• Experience handling property insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis and claims evaluation.
• Strong background in legal research, writing, and drafting.
• Experience preparing coverage opinions, pleadings, briefs, and discovery materials.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze policies and claim materials and draft coverage opinions.
• Prepare correspondence for clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Review documents in coverage disputes and litigation.
• Conduct legal research using Westlaw.
• Draft and respond to discovery, pleadings, and motions.
• Conduct depositions and participate in hearings and mediations.
• Support case strategy through all phases of litigation.
