Nationwide in the United States is seeking a Field Claims Specialist II, Property to cover Northern VA and surrounding areas. This is a work-from-home role with day travel to policy locations via company vehicle.

You will investigate and resolve moderate to severe property damage claims by phone and in person, perform rooftop inspections, and collaborate with SIU and Subrogation to root out fraud while delivering outstanding customer service.

Formación

• 3-5 years of property claims experience.
• CAT duty is required for this role.
• Xactimate proficiency and ability to write estimates.

Responsabilidades

• Handle assigned claims promptly and independently.
• Determine policy coverages and apply appropriate practices.
• Open/close reserves and manage file status.
• Maintain knowledge of guidelines, pricing, and local procedures.
• Collaborate with SIU and Subrogation to identify fraud.
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the claims process.
• May travel to claim locations and inspect rooftops as needed.
