Virginia Farm Bureau Family of Companies is seeking a Property Office Claims Representative to handle property damage and liability claims and settle them in accordance with our procedures. Based at the West Creek Office in Richmond, VA, this exempt, full-time role offers a hybrid schedule after in-office training and a compensation range of $52,000 to $72,000 annually.

Qualificações

• College degree or equivalent in property and casualty required
• 2–3 years P&C experience required
• 2–3 years experience making liability decisions required

Responsabilidades

• Investigate, evaluate and adjust losses assigned.
• Evaluate and estimate claims using photos, measurements and estimating platforms.
• Comply with company policies in handling losses and other matters.
• Maintain timely contact with insureds and claimants.
• Diary and reserve open claims; process incoming mail daily.
• Develop relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Assist other claim personnel as requested.
• Assist with peak-time hunt group call handling.
