Job summary

Frankenmuth Insurance Company seeks an experienced claims adjuster to investigate and resolve general property, casualty and workers' compensation claims under supervision. You will determine liability, coverage and reserves, documenting findings and communicating with policyholders, agents and involved parties.

You will manage case work within authority limits, perform interviews and site visits, and contribute to process improvement while delivering exceptional service and compliant claims

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of related claims experience or an Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Experience with claim investigations and documentation.
• Ability to work under general supervision and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Investigates claims to determine liability, extent of coverage and damages.
• Obtains information from agents, insureds, claimants, witnesses and others.
• Monitors outcomes through self-audit and maintains claim reports.
• Delivers customer service to policyholders and agents, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Performs interviews and site inspections; may attend settlement conferences or trials.
• Within defined authority, manages, evaluates and closes claims.
