Job description

Job Title: Associate Insurance Brokerage Service Specialist

Are you a people-person with strong communication and organizational skills, with a knack for navigating the finer details? Join our Statewide Services team to help agents solve insurance coverage problems for their clients. We are a top-rated property & casualty company with an A+ AM Best Rating. This position offers the possibility of working remotely.

Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as an intermediary between agents and brokers regarding new business, mid-term adjustments, cancellations, and renewals.
  2. Answer agent inquiries and questions.
  3. Assist agents with the completion of renewal applications.
  4. Provide payment options to agents.
  5. Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing.
  6. Maintain all paper and digital files accurately.
  7. Issue, quote, and properly process bonds.
  8. Adhere to RMIC and SSI company protocols.
  9. Assist other team members with duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. Property & Casualty insurance experience is necessary.
  2. Licensed in Property & Casualty insurance, or willing to obtain proper licenses within the desired time frame.
  3. Attention to detail is crucial for maintaining excellent customer service.
  4. Desire to learn about the industry’s markets and build positive relationships within Rural.
  5. Strong time management and organizational skills.
  6. Effective communication skills.
  7. Familiarity with client relationship software and MS Excel is preferred but not required.
  8. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, including remotely.
Compensation:

$40,000 - $50,000 annually, based on experience.
