Patient Services Specialist

Role Summary

This role involves providing the release of protected health information to healthcare facilities, reviewing, evaluating, and processing Disability/FMLA forms, including Short Term, Long Term, and Family Medical Leave paperwork. The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, a problem solver, with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

1. Enter all assigned requests into the system for processing and documentation.
2. Answer patient questions via email or telephone related to their Disability/FMLA forms.
3. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA privacy and security laws.
4. Verify patient information using key identifiers.
5. Provide attentive and caring service to patients and their representatives.
