Job summary

Holmes Murphy in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Client Service Consultant to join our Property Casualty team. You will manage client accounts from start to finish, lead meetings with carriers, and help renewals with underwriters.

Requirements include a high school diploma (college degree preferred), 5+ years in customer service or insurance, and licensing or ability to obtain a Life & Health/Property Casualty license within three months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• 5+ years of customer service experience, underwriting or risk management in the insurance industry.
• Active state-specific Life & Health/Property Casualty license or ability to obtain within three months of hire.
• Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs.

Responsibilities

• Attend insurance carrier meetings and independently lead client meetings.
• Manage accounts from start to finish; may have Client Service Specialist support and/or Sr. Client Service Consultant support.
• Pre-renewal meetings on qualifying accounts and development of client opportunities.
• Market renewal policies and negotiate with underwriters.
• Review quotes for accuracy and prepare proposal documents for clients.
• Ensure client information, coverage schedules, endorsements, and audits are accurate.
• Prepare renewal documents and save to agency management system.
