Job summary

Holmes Murphy in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Client Service Consultant for our Property Casualty team. You will lead client meetings, service accounts end-to-end, and develop renewal opportunities with internal colleagues and insurance underwriters.

You will review quotes for accuracy, prepare proposals, and ensure all client data and carrier information—coverage schedules, endorsements, and audits—are up to date. Strong communication and consultation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years in customer service, underwriting or risk management in the insurance industry.
• Licensing: Active state Life & Health/Property Casualty Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
• Technical Competencies: Apply insurance principles to consult with clients and deliver proactive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Attend insurance carrier meetings and lead client meetings as required.
• Working accounts start to finish; may have support from Client Service Specialist or Sr. Client Service Consultant.
• Consult with the team for pre-renewal meetings on qualifying accounts and development of client opportunities.
• Market renewal policies and negotiate with underwriters.
• Review quotes for accuracy and prepare proposal documents for client.
• Ensure client information and carrier items are accurate and current including coverage schedules, endorsements, and audits.
