Job summary

AmeriGas is hiring a Service Technician in the United States. You will safely operate a propane service vehicle, install and repair tanks, and occasionally perform delivery duties.

The role emphasizes safety and customer service, with shifts typically ranging 8–12 hours and opportunities for career growth. Requirements include a valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT physical, drug test, and background check required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom on assigned routes.
• Install and repair propane tanks/systems for residential and commercial customers.
• Perform delivery responsibilities as needed (bulk or canister propane).
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations and AmeriGas policies.
• Work 8 to 12 hour shifts as needed.
