Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair and service propane tanks for residential and commercial customers. You will operate a service vehicle safely and follow all regulations while delivering high-quality customer service.

This onsite role offers daily home time, a sign-on bonus, and strong benefits. You must pass pre-employment screenings and maintain a safe work environment in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Satisfactory completion of a DOT physical, drug test and background check.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 70lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom on designated routes.
• Repair existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On an as-needed basis, perform Delivery Representative duties (bulk or canister propane).
• Follow all federal/state codes and AmeriGas Safety and Operations policies.
