Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring Service Technicians to install and repair propane tanks for residential and commercial customers across the United States.

As a local Service Technician, you will operate a propane service vehicle, perform repairs and installations, and, when needed, fulfill Delivery Representative duties while upholding safety and customer service standards. Must have CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Qualifications

• Valid class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Acceptable driving record.
• DOT physical, drug test and background check completed.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate propane service vehicle with lift gate and boom on routes.
• Repair existing propane tanks for commercial and residential customers.
• Install new propane tanks/systems for commercial and residential customers.
• On occasion, perform Delivery Representative duties for bulk/canister propane.
• Follow all codes, policies, and PPE requirements; work 8–12 hour shifts as needed.
