Job summary

Pinnacle Propane, LLC is hiring a Service Technician in Payson, AZ. The role focuses on safety, integrity, and dependable propane services for residential and commercial customers.

You will install lines, perform leak tests, troubleshoot systems, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering excellent customer service. Ideal candidates will hold a CDL with Hazmat, be able to work in various weather, and maintain equipment and documentation.

Qualifications

• CDL (Class A or B) with Hazmat preferred or ability to obtain.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Work in adverse weather, including off-road conditions.
• Ability to work around dogs, cats, and other animals.
• Adhere to DOT rules and regulations.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret manuals and reports.
• Complete Operator Qualification (OQ).
• Maintain OQ and other required trainings.
• Respond to inquiries from clients, regulatory agencies or others.
• Demonstrate cooperative, team-oriented behavior.
• Maintain safety and safe work practices in propane operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform minor equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install service lines to house, equipment, or building per regulations.
• Ensure safety and regulatory standards are met.
• Perform leak tests and gas checks at customer sites.
• Operate service/vehicles per regulations.
• Maintain and inspect service vehicles; pre/post trip checks.
• Operate construction equipment (backhoe, mini ex, skid steer).
• Troubleshoot propane systems and appliances.
• Convert gas appliances.
• Repair/adjust propane equipment as needed.
• Communicate clearly with customers about information.
• Maintain professional image and customer service.
• Work a flexible schedule with after-hours and emergency call-outs.
• Report issues to supervisor affecting safety, customer satisfaction, productivity.
• Prepare, complete, and maintain work orders and docs.
• Lift up to 60 lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.
