Job summary

Pinnacle Propane is seeking a Full Time Propane Service Technician in Baytown, TX. The role involves delivering and servicing propane systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with DOT and NFPA standards.

A CDL and Hazmat endorsement or the ability to obtain are required, along with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum one (1) year of propane service, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, utility, or related field experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement or ability to obtain within company-established timeframes.
• Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain within company-established timeframes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Ability to pass all DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform job duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Install and service propane tanks, regulators, piping, and related equipment.
• Install service lines to residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial customers following NFPA and DOT regulations.
• Perform leak tests, system checks, and safety inspections before service.
• Diagnose and repair propane appliances and equipment.
• Educate customers on safe propane usage and emergency procedures.
• Maintain vehicles, tools, and inventory in good condition.
• Complete electronic work orders and documentation accurately.
