Job summary

Pinnacle Propane, Baytown, TX, seeks a Service Technician to safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers and document work orders using electronic systems. The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and strong customer service.

You will install and maintain propane equipment, troubleshoot systems, respond to emergencies, and operate service vehicles and tools while upholding company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of propane service or related field experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; CDL-B with Tanker endorsement or ability to obtain.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain; ability to obtain DOT Medical Exam Certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English safely.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and remove propane tanks, cylinders, regulators, piping, and related equipment.
• Install service lines to residential, commercial, agricultural, and industrial customers per NFPA 54/58 and regulations.
• Perform gas leak tests, pressure tests, and safety inspections before placing systems into service.
• Diagnose and repair propane appliances such as water heaters, furnaces, and dryers.
• Install, replace, adjust, and convert propane appliances and regulators as required.
• Educate customers on safe propane usage and emergency procedures; maintain professional communication.
