Job summary

A propane service provider is seeking a Service Technician in Kansas City. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe delivery, repair, and installation of propane tanks and appliances. Ideal candidates must have a high school diploma, be at least 21 years old, possess a valid Class B CDL with HAZMAT certification, and showcase strong customer service skills. Prior experience in propane or natural gas is preferred, along with the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.

Job Purpose:

A Pinnacle Propane Service Technician is responsible for the safe delivery, repair and installation of propane, propane tanks and propane appliances.

Job Duties:

• Setting propane tanks
• Running service Line from the tank to the house or building
• Perform leak tests and gas checks at customer sites
• Ability to troubleshoot propane systems and propane appliances for any problems
• Repair propane tanks and cylinders
• During daily interaction with customers provides exceptional customer service by supplying service information and answering inquiries.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
• Must possess a valid Class B CDL with HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
