Job summary

Central Farm Service is seeking a propane service technician to install, inspect, and service propane tanks and systems while providing outstanding customer service.

You will educate customers on safe use, complete invoices, and perform routine sales calls, working to maintain safety and regulatory compliance at all times. This on-site role requires a CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements; air brake endorsement required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect and service propane tanks, equipment and systems.
• Educate customers on safe use of propane.
• Maintain accurate invoices and related paperwork.
• Perform routine sales calls and deliveries assistance.
• Adhere to safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
