Job summary

Central Farm Service in Minnesota City is seeking a team member to install, inspect and service propane tanks, equipment and systems while delivering outstanding customer service. You will ensure safety, educate customers on propane use, complete invoices, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and support propane delivery operations.

Qualifications

• One year relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, customers and the public.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Self-motivated and self-directed.
• Ability to make independent judgments with moderate impacts on the organization.
• Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Maintain a valid CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements. Air brake endorsement with class B CDL.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect and service propane tanks, equipment and systems following all codes and regulations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on safe use of propane and appliances.
• Accurately complete invoices and related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Make routine sales calls.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance items to supervisor.
• Maintain equipment in operational and clean condition.
• Assist with propane delivery and other operations.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements.
