Job summary

Central-Farm-Service is seeking a propane service technician to install, inspect and service propane tanks, equipment and systems while delivering outstanding customer service in Minnesota. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip checks, educate customers on safe propane use, and maintain accurate paperwork.

The role requires valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, clean driving record, and the ability to work independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• One year relevant experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.
• Ability to establish relationships with employees, supervisors, customers.
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Maintain a valid CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect and service propane tanks, equipment and systems.
• Educate customers on safe use of propane and appliances.
• Complete invoices and related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Make routine sales calls.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance items.
• Maintain equipment in operational and clean condition.
• Assist with propane delivery and other operations.
• Follow company safety policies and regulations; work safely.
• Represent CFS professionally in actions and appearance.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
