Job summary

Central-Farm-Service (CFS) is seeking a propane delivery and service team member in Minnesota. You will deliver propane, install and service tanks and systems, and educate customers on safe use while maintaining safety and compliance with DOT standards.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate paperwork, and proactive maintenance, with opportunities to grow within a safety-focused, employee-centric company.

Qualifications

• One year relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.
• Maintain a valid CDL license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Maintain air brake endorsement with class A CDL.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Accurately deliver propane and other related products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Accurately complete all invoices and related paper work in a timely manner
• Ensure deliveries are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent CSA scores
• Install, inspect and service customer propane tanks equipment and systems following all codes of standards and regulations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Educate customers on the safe use of propane and appliances.
• Accurately complete all invoices and related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor.
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times.
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance.
• Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision
• Perform other duties and projects as requested by supervisor or management
