Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Service Technician to install propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems, and perform routine service at company and customer locations. You will complete work orders, manage inventory, and support safety goals while delivering high-quality fuel products.

The role requires HS diploma or equivalent, truck/equipment maintenance experience, a valid CDL with tanker and HAZMAT endorsements (within 90 days), and the ability to obtain MFA Oil crane

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training/experience in truck and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to obtain CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability and willingness to obtain MFA Oil crane certification.
• Valid driver's license and DOT compliance.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service including installation of propane tanks and maintenance of existing systems.
• Install equipment at company and customer locations and complete service work as scheduled.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and deliver fuel and propane as needed.
• Inspect customer installations to ensure safe operations.
• Maintain inventory of parts and document all service records.
• Operate vehicle safely and comply with DOT requirements.
• Communicate issues and feedback to supervision.
