Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Service Technician in Missouri to install propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems at company and customer sites. The role includes completing work orders, maintaining safety standards, and delivering fuel products as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus experience with truck/equipment maintenance and the ability to obtain a CDL with tanker/HAZMAT endorsements within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training and/or experience in truck and equipment maintenance.
• Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability and willingness to become propane (CETP) certified as determined by the state served.
• Ability and willingness to become MFA Oil crane certified.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within the first 90 days of employment, and maintain DOT requirements.
• Ability to pass MFA Oil Company road test requiring operation of both manual and automatic transmission vehicles within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient service, including installation of tanks and service of equipment at company and customer locations.
• Perform service work as scheduled, including after-hours emergency service.
• Maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance as directed.
• Deliver refined fuel and propane products as needed and assigned.
• Safely operate vehicle according to MFA Oil policies and guidelines.
