Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Service Technician to install and service propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems at company and customer locations. You will complete work orders, perform safety-focused maintenance, and deliver products as needed in a field setting.

The role requires CDL readiness, CETP/HazMat willingness, and strong mechanical aptitude. Eligible candidates have a high school diploma, clean driving record, and the ability to obtain required certifications within

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training and/or experience in truck and equipment maintenance.
• Hazardous materials handling willingness.
• Willingness to obtain propane CETP certification as required by state(s) served.
• Willingness to obtain MFA Oil crane certification.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to pass MFA Oil road test for both manual and automatic transmissions within 90 days.
• Ability to operate automatic and manual transmissions in various weather/road conditions.
• Proficiency with computers and handheld delivery tracking device.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work in outdoor conditions.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service including installation of propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems.
• Install equipment at company and customer locations and complete work orders.
• Assist in safety, installations, and training goals.
• Deliver fuel and propane products as needed.
• Inspect installations for safety and compliance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system and equipment issues.
• Maintain inventory of fuel-related parts and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance as directed.
• Communicate changes or issues to supervision.
• Operate MFA Oil vehicle per policies and regulations.
• Present MFA Oil positively to the community.
