Job summary

MFA Oil Company is seeking a Fuel & Propane Service Technician to install and service propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems at company and customer locations. The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and timely communication with supervision.

You will handle service work, after-hours calls, and ensure compliance with safety guidelines while maintaining equipment and carrying out preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Training and/or experience in truck and equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a Class A or B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient service including installation and maintenance of propane, refined fuel, and lubricant systems.
• Install equipment at company and customer locations and complete work orders as directed.
• Perform after-hours emergency service and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Inspect customer installations to ensure safe, dependable operations.
• Deliver refined fuel and propane products as needed and assigned.
• Maintain inventory of fuel-related and non-fuel related parts and equipment.
